For the first time, all nine of his fairy tales are included in the collection of the famous prose writer, screenwriter and playwright Yevgeny Lvovich Schwartz (1896-1958): "The Tale of Lost Time," "New Adventures of the Puss in Boots," "Two Brothers," "Scattered Wizard," "Leningrad Fairy Tale," "Story of the Old Balalaika," "Two Friends - Khomut and Podpruga," "War of Parsley and Stepka-Rastrepka" and "Petka-Rooster, village shepherd." The illustrations in the book were made by the People's Artist of the Russian Federation V.A. Chizhikov.
