Physics of the holographic method is presented. It is popular, without formulas, to compare the location characteristics of stereo photography, binaurality of hearing, radar, lens-free stencil camera, raster stereo photo openings and the holographic interference method of full reproducibility of volume. Information about the distance from an object to an observer in holography is stored due to the interference of light from an object with the light of a reference beam having a wave front of a known and easily reproducible shape.
