The first volume of the publication includes Hegel's early works, important for understanding his philosophical evolution - "Folk Religion and Christianity" and "Positivism of the Christian Religion," as well as one of the original versions of the Hegel system - the lecture summary "Jena Real Philosophy." The second volume includes Philosophical Propaedeutics, a short, popular presentation of Hegel's system intended for students, selected letters (correspondence with Schelling, Goethe and others), which reflect the events of his time, and Hegel's views on philosophy, politics, art, etc., as well as "Aphorisms" relating to the Jena and Berlin periods of his life.
