The book discusses the basics of organizing data structures and implementing them using C++ as an instruction language. Most of the data structures considered, such as arrays, vectors, queues, lists and stacks, are available as part of the standard template library (STL). The canonical implementation of these data structures, which is both efficient and concise, is examined in sufficient detail. Much attention is also paid to algorithms for working with data structures.
