The publication includes a translation of letters from extensive correspondence from the director of the Pulkovo Observatory, O. V. Struve, and the director of the Brera Observatory in Milan, J. V. Schiaparelli. The publication of the correspondence allows you to see the commonality of scientific interests of two astronomers, whose main attention is drawn to the problem of studying the motion of stars - members of binary and multiple star systems.
