Analysis of the problem of corrosion of heat exchange equipment was carried out, the regularities of metal corrosion during heat transfer, engineering methods of quantitative assessment of corrosion, methods of protection against corrosion of heat exchange equipment, methods and installations for studying metal corrosion in traffic and heat transfer conditions were considered.
