This is a story about difficult youth in the cramped walls of a military school, about sudden loud literary fame, about the fragility of the first success, coldness and sharp ridicule of yesterday's friends, about painful doubts and stubborn search for their own path in life and in literature. This is a story about the incessant intense searches for a new truth unknown to the world, about the searches that led the frantic dreamer to hard labor... Without changing the aspirations of his youth, the writer embodied them differently in the works of his mature time.
