The monograph is devoted to a specific area of ​ ​ linguistics - the grammar of the Korean language. Her historical and evolutionary analysis covers the period of the origin and formation of Korea's own linguistic theory. The book presents a factual description of Korean grammars of the second half of the 19th - early 20th centuries, a generalized description of the material presented in them is given. The formation of Korean grammatical terminology is considered. For the first time in Russian linguistics, the evolution of the doctrine of parts of the speech of the Korean language is studied in historiographic terms, understood as a dialectic of universalism and idiomatic.
