"Anthology of Populism" is a documentary story about the revolutionary movement of the 60-80s of the XIX century, created by Mikhail Yakovlevich Gefter in the 2nd half. 1970s. The anthology relied on many years of research by a number of historians of the post-Stalinist period, while becoming a new reading of populism and its dramatic fate. The book was created for publication abroad when Mikhail Gefter left the "official science," and work on it was free from censorship restrictions. After the seizure of the manuscript during the search, some of the author's texts that preceded individual chapters of the Anthology were lost.
