This volume, the fourth in the series "Archaeological Collections" of the State Hermitage Museum, is almost entirely devoted to Slavic themes. It includes six works, of which one, the opening collection, was written by the famous researcher of ancient Pskov Grigory Pavlovich Grozdilov, senior researcher at the Department of the History of Primitive Culture of the State Hermitage Museum, and five by young little or not at all famous authors: E. I. Oyateva, O. I. Da-vidan, Yu. I. Shtakelberg, P. I. Khavlyuk and T.I. Makarova.
