Vladimir Russia existed for two centuries: from the second half of the XII century, from the reign of Andrei Bogolyubsky, to the second half of the XIV century, the era of Dmitry Donskoy. It was historically a single region with a common capital - Vladimir, which was a symbol of the unity of North-Eastern Russia. At the beginning of the XIV century, she was in a desperate situation. Ravaged, fragmented, depopulated under the oppression of the Horde, she seemed to never regain her former greatness. But it was she who became the core of the future Russia, the soil on which a single Russian state rose. She became a crucible, from the flame of which Holy Russia emerged - a country of ascetic monks who enlightened the colossal spaces of the North with the faith of Christ. Finally, she retained the experience of Byzantine autocracy, the state system of the true Empire. This book is dedicated to four outstanding rulers and commanders of Vladimir Russia.
