The first volume in a systematic form sets out the classification of ammunition and weapons, describes the characteristics of their effectiveness. Classification of fragmentation, high-explosive and cumulative ammunition, ammunition with directed flows of striking elements and volumetric explosion ammunition is given, as well as structural and schematic solutions, functioning processes and operating parameters of these ammunition are considered in detail. The second volume contains the characteristics of the effectiveness of the types of ammunition considered in the first volume. The basic concepts and principles of the use of non-lethal weapons are outlined. The classification of devices and the operating principles of fuses (fuses) of ammunition for various purposes, as well as general information on initiation means, are considered.
