This book includes author's articles on key textbooks that defined pedagogy at the turn of the ancient and medieval eras, as well as commented translations of these textbooks. The main lines of transformation and development of educational literature, the literary and didactic canon, teaching methods, the image of the student and the simulated horizon of his thinking during the transition from Antiquity to the Middle Ages are shown.
