The tutorial contains basic information from the theory of oscillations used in the calculation of mechanisms and machines. Oscillations in gear, cam and hinge mechanisms are considered. Principles of vibration machines construction are described. Vibration protection is shown in the examples of calculation of devices for vibration isolation and vibration damping.
