The monograph is devoted to the mathematical aspects of black hole physics. Particular attention is paid to the problems of separating variables and constructing solutions of equations for massless and massive fields of different spin in Schwarzschild and Kerr spaces, the theory of Debye potentials and Green functions; spontaneous and forced radiation of particles moving in the vicinity of black holes is investigated.
