The Urantia Book is an esoteric book in which a detailed biography of Jesus Christ and his teachings are presented in the form of religious revelation about the nature of God, cosmology, the origin and destiny of mankind. It was first published in Chicago (USA) in October 1955 in English. Her authorship is the subject of speculation. The appearance of the book is associated with the activities of the American psychiatrist William Sadler. The book served as the basis for the esoteric religious movement "Brotherhood of Urantia," which was influenced by the theosophy of Elena Blavatsky and the theory of lost civilizations by James Churchward.
