Penza Museum of Local Lore has an extensive collection of various museum collections and individual exhibits. Collections of bones of extinct or fossil animals found in the Penza region are particularly complete and diverse. These exhibits are of great scientific value and serve as a legitimate pride of the museum. All of them entered the museum thanks to the tireless search for local history researchers. A large and better part of the finds is exhibited in one of the spacious halls of the museum. In a book review of the halls of the museum, extinct giants of distant eras appear before us.
