Questions of the origin of domestic animals always arouse our deep interest, since among wild animals we do not meet species that are entirely similar to them. Currently, no one doubts that domestic animals came from wild ancestors, some of which are completely extinct, and some species also now exist in various areas of the globe. Cows, sheep, goats, pigs, dogs are the oldest of all domesticated species, and we strive to penetrate our mental gaze into the gray antiquity, 8-10 thousand years ago, in order to understand the amazing transformations made with animals during their long history.
