The monograph is dedicated to the medieval settlement on the Tepsen plateau of the VIII - the first half of the X centuries. in southeastern Crimea. Based on the involvement of unpublished archival materials and excavation data, the history of the study of the archaeological complex as a whole is considered, residential, economic, funeral and religious objects are analyzed, the main features of material culture are covered in detail, as well as the level of development of agriculture, crafts and crafts. The main elements of the ancient infrastructure of the settlement, the place of the archaeological complex among the synchronous monuments of Taurica of the early Middle Ages and other aspects are being reconstructed.
