Nevelsky "The Exploits of Russian Naval Officers in the Extreme East of Russia" Khabarovsk Book Publishing House opens the series "Far Eastern Historical Library" dedicated to the heroic past of the Soviet Far East. The series, along with the works of major Soviet historians, ethnographers and archaeologists, will include books by prominent researchers of the Far East V. M. Golovnin, S. P. Krasheninnikov, G. I. Shelikhov, N. M. Przhevalsky, M. I. Venyukov, V. G. Bogoraz, L. Ya. Sternberg... Affirming the priority of domestic science in the study of the far outskirts of the Motherland, the books of these pioneers of the 18th and 19th centuries at the same time testify to their high citizenship, patriotism, courage, humanism - qualities that are highly inherent in the advanced figures of Russian science. To make dedication, asceticism, the heroism of their lives the property of the widest masses of the Far East - this is the main goal pursued by the Khabarovsk publishing house, violating the release of the Far Eastern Historical Library.
