The textbook is intended for beginners to learn Amharic. It can be used both in language learning under the guidance of a teacher, and in self-study. The textbook contains basic information about the morphological and grammatical laws of the Amharic language. The course is sufficient for mastering basic grammar, consolidates and improves knowledge of grammar and primary translation skills, expands the vocabulary. Original texts on various topics present in each lesson acquaint students with the culture, life and everyday realities of Ethiopia, provide opportunities for the development of monological and dialogical speech.
