The monograph is devoted to a comprehensive analysis of the collection of sermons, or homilies, of St. Gregory Palamas, Archbishop of Thessaloniki (c. 1294-1357), teacher of silence, the largest ascetic ascetic, church thinker and preacher of Paleologue Byzantium. For the first time in world Byzantine studies, on the basis of this source, cosmological, anthropological and " sociological " views of the author.
