Chris Mann's book on the 3rd SS division TOTENKOPF is a must for all interested in the history of the SS. It is incredibly informative, without dragging on as to loose the reader's interest. The book covers the formation of the division as concentration camp guards to one of the most feared fighting forces on the Eastern Front. For five long years they fought the Soviet Forces,the author's coverage of these years is outstanding.
