The book provides data on bone changes in astronauts during long space flights. On the basis of experiments carried out on rats and turtles, the characteristics of bone changes in various parts of the skeleton are given, the levels of restorative reactions are studied, data are provided on the effect of weight unloading of bone on its physical and mechanical properties.
