The drawings below are little-known photographic photographs from portraits of some former Mongol rulers of the Middle State of the Yuan Dynasty (1280-1368). Until recently, the portraits were in one of the Beijing palaces. Photographs from them are equipped with short biographies in Chinese and Mongolian by unknown authors who apparently used different Chinese historical sources. The translation of the Chinese text here is supplemented with small notes.
