The tutorial is intended for practical training in the disciplines "System Design and Modeling," "Modeling," "Computer Modeling" using simulation modeling systems. Methods for developing simulation models of designed systems using AnyLogic and GPSS World tools are proposed; provides comparative estimates of the results of modeling heterogeneous discrete processes obtained on models of the same designed system in GPSS World and AnyLogic. Modeling results are interpreted, conceptual conclusions are made on the feasibility of indicators and parameters of the designed systems.
