On January 15, 1979, the junior drifter of the Lviv Railway Ivan Nedbailo examined the tracks on the section of the Chop-Western border of the USSR. Not reaching the pole with the number 28, the passer found the corpse of a dog on the rails and did not slow down called the police. The forensic examination found that the dog died his death, since no signs of violence were found on her body.
