This short "Ancient Germanic Mythological Dictionary" is not conceived as a standard manual on, in fact, ancient Germanic mythology. It is based on read, translated, partially published materials and drafts of the famous philologist-Germanist, researcher of ancient German mythology Leonid Korablev. The "Dictionary" covers the mythology of ancient Scandinavians and ancient Englishmen. Leonid Korablev's works have been translated into English, Icelandic and Swedish. Books by Leonid Korablev are stored in the National Library of Iceland. He was awarded the "Yesenin Gold Medal" and the diploma "For Faithful Service to Russian Literature" and prizes for promoting Icelandic culture in Russia.
