The basic concepts, principles and methods of the theory of automatic control in relation to chemical processes as objects of control are presented. Structures and functions of automatic control systems (ACS), methods and laws of control of chemical-technological processes (CTS), methods of analysis and synthesis of ACS CTS, means of technical diagnostics in chemical industry are considered.
