This technical description (TS) and operating instructions are intended for studying the special- KS-23 carbine. The maintenance describes the design, principle of operation, basic technical characteristics and other information necessary to ensure the full use of the technical capabilities of the carbine. This technical description applies to a special KS-23 carbine, drawing designation KS-23 000.000, intended for arming operational units of the USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs to suppress armed resistance of criminals. Shooting from a carbine is carried out by a cartridge with a PG combat grenade. 391739.005 or a cartridge with an inert PG.391739.006 grenade, sighting, single fire, with individual maintenance.
