The textbook examines modern ideas about the structure of the Universe, discusses the problems of the origin and evolution of the Universe as a whole, as well as its individual structures: galaxies, stars, the solar system, the Earth. The Big Bang theory is analyzed in detail. An analysis of the formation of the main stages of the cosmological scientific picture of the world is given.
