The textbook is written on the basis of a course of lectures that the author has been giving for many years to undergraduates of the Faculty of Physics and Technology of NSTU. The book consists of three parts devoted to the theory of the passage of particles through matter, instruments for recording particles and methods for processing experiments. A significant share of instrument material is based on new works published in journals and not yet included in monographs.
