The collection of so-called "thieves" songs presented to the reader is unique and has no analogues. For the first time, not only the texts of criminal, prison, Bosjak songs were collected, but also the history of the creation of many of them was told, information about some authors of songs is given, various versions of the text, verses and individual lines are given. Criminal and prison terms, historical realities, etc. are explained.
