The issues of creation and application of robots, manipulators and robotic technological complexes for underground coal mining are considered. Principles of construction of remote-controlled manipulators, as well as moving devices, information devices, control and power supply systems are described. An assessment of the economic efficiency of robotization, taking into account social factors, is presented. Designed for engineering and technical workers of coal and mining enterprises, specialists from research and development institutes, can be useful to university students.
