This volume of the Secret Archive publishes the main work of the outstanding writer and historian of the Russian Diaspora B. Bashilov, The History of Russian Freemasonry. Based on serious historical materials of the 18th-20th centuries, Bashilov shows "free masons" as a criminal, anti-national force seeking to destroy and dismember Russia. Since Peter I, the ruling class and intelligentsia came under the influence of Masonic ideology and, thus, prepared the anti-Russian revolution of 1917.
