The book is dedicated to reflecting the tragedy of Babi Yar in German documents, many of which are published for the first time. The role of the Wehrmacht in this tragedy is revealed, in particular, in the preparation of massacres, the degree of participation in these killings of various German punitive bodies is traced, direct and indirect responsibility for the murders of Jews is personified, a critical analysis of the problem of the number of Jewish victims is given, the attitude of Germans to this tragedy is considered, especially attempts to save Jews by individual Germans.
