The publication presents many years of experience accumulated by the authors during a set of neurorentgenological studies (cranio-, spondylo-, myelo-, angiography, CT and MRI of the brain, spinal cord and spine at the N.N. Burdenko Institute of Neurosurgery of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences. The first volume gives an overview of modern neuroimaging methods, a separate chapter is devoted to the anatomy of the brain, the subsequent chapters discuss the development of the brain and the diagnosis of its malformations.
