Topographic anatomy is part of the general human anatomy, which studies the area and layers of the human body, as well as clarifies the spatial relationships of anatomical objects. According to the curriculum, the teaching of topographic anatomy in our country (Bulgaria) is carried out by the departments of anatomy and histology as a natural continuation of learning through systematic anatomy.
