A realistic story about the construction of a new housing estate, the work of builders and the relationship of several families in a communal apartment through the eyes of a student of an elementary school Slavka - a fantasist and inventor. They live together with their father (after the death of their mother), and their father is surprisingly attentive and wise teacher.
