The ethnographic dictionary contains descriptions of terms and concepts of categories of traditional spiritual and material culture of Altai. The preface contains a brief description of the region, the history of the study of the issue, the tasks of the publication, as well as the principles of building a dictionary. Dictionary articles are divided into three thematic sections: "Constants of the traditional culture of Altai," "Material culture," "Intangible culture." The publication is addressed to ethnologists, historians, culturologists, philologists and a wide range of readers.
