Kamil Gizycki's book "Through Uryankhai and Mongolia," first published in Poland in 1927, that is, shortly after the events described in it, will allow the curious reader to plunge into the history of the White movement in Mongolia and in the border regions of Siberia with full confidence. Gizycki was a direct participant in the hostilities deployed by the "whites" as part of the Asian Cavalry Division under the command of Baron Ungern. In addition, by nature, Gizhitsky was an excellent observer, and by his tendency - belonged to enthusiastic researchers of the culture, language, customs, beliefs and religions of the Mongols and the tribes inhabiting Mongolia.
