This publication is devoted to the historical and theoretical analysis of the development of research devoted to the description of the features of economic (economic) life in various cultures and the role in their analysis of the content of the concept of "person." The monograph considers two main approaches to understanding a person: quantitative formal-individualistic and qualitative humanistic-historical. The most important problem of this study is the study of the impact of different cultures on the characteristics of economic behavior.
