Ernst Schmidt's book Introduction to Technical Thermodynamics is a textbook widely distributed in Western Europe. Due to the fact that the programs of domestic courses of technical thermodynamics are somewhat different from the issues considered in E. Schmidt's book, it can only be recommended as a textbook.
