The theoretical foundations of shooting are considered in the first chapter of the textbook, which included information from internal and external ballistics, the sequence of solving the fire problem, and the application of probability theory in shooting. Despite the fact that some of the questions on probability theory are studied by cadets in the subject "Mathematics," the authors considered it necessary to present the questions of applying probability theory sequentially and completely, which provides a single and integral idea of ​ ​ the patterns of random events during shooting.
