Deals mainly with the problems of convergence and summability of spectral expansions over fundamental functions of second-order self-adjoint elliptic operators. For arbitrary self-adjoint non-negative extensions of such operators and their Riesz means, conditions for uniform convergence are established, final in each of the classes of Sobolev-Liouville, Nikolsky, Besov and Sigmund-Hölder functions.
