The Handbook includes a brief description of 1317 plant species growing in the Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. After the Russian name of the plant, the corresponding Tatar name is given, and at the end of the book there is a Russian-Latin index. Rare plants are marked with a badge.
