The textbook is based on a course of lectures on the theory of oscillations given by the author at the Physics Department of Moscow State University. M.V. Lomonosov in 1950-1960. The presented course outlines the basic laws of oscillatory processes in physics, as well as methods for theoretical study and calculation of the simplest oscillatory systems.
