People would not be human if they did not ask questions about the world around them. Many thousands of years ago, they looked out of the caves and thought about what appeared to their eyes. Why does lightning sparkle? Where does the wind come from? Why does winter come and why do all trees and shrubs die with its arrival? And how do they all come to life again with the onset of spring?
