The monograph covers the formation and development of the ideas of humanism and the Reformation in Ukraine under feudalism. For the first time in scientific literature, a systematic analysis of the origin and approval of these ideas in the spiritual culture of Ukraine, which come from the era of Kievan Rus, is given. On the materials of philosophical courses of the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, their development into the ideology of the early Enlightenment is traced. The first attempt was made to reveal the relationship between the development of such ideas in Ukraine and similar processes in neighboring countries of Western Europe, primarily Germany, Poland, and Holland.
