Abulfaz was drafted into the army in the spring of 1938, when he was just eighteen years old. Ahead was military service. Long three years of army everyday life, hard trials and incredible hardships. But he could not know on that distant spring day that he would return home only 9 years later, that after serving in the army and studying at an artillery school, a war would begin, and he, the newly minted platoon commander, would immediately be sent to the front line.
